TURIN BRAKES - MUSIC VIDEO
This is an ambiguous film about life and death. Physics have no place in this timeless limbo between our world and the afterlife. Its a place where contemplation and grieving reside. The explosion is a metaphor for the emotional journey that surrounds death and its effects on everyone it touches, both alive and dead and how its vortex, no matter how intense and powerful it may seem, is inevitably met with acceptance.
This music video was a long time in the making. With limited budget and time, we pulled together an elite team of volunteers who were crucial to delivering this video on schedule.

This series of sponsorships were produced for channel 4 via the creative team at ITN to run alongside the Simpsons and also air at the same time as the current Birds eye commercial 'the boy with the tail'.
We chose a hand drawn creative direction to give a rich disney feeling, which gives a nod to cell animation, but unrelated to the style of the simpsons.

Our first project with MTV was an extremely enjoyable task. We had a very tight deadline, but with the right talent on board this wasn’t an issue. Adam Relf created stunning illustrations for us to bring to life. The shots were passed back and forth between Munk, MTV and Adam, each adding more and more to the overall animation.
